2008 Presidential Candidate Matrix
When choosing any government official, or anyone in a position of power, it is important to look at the facts. Alot of people say “I am a Democrat/Republican and I will vote for them regardless.” This is a very unsafe approach to helping make decisions that will impact your life, and in the case of the US Presidency, the lives of people all across the globe. Personally, I did not vote in 2004 because I did not like the job that George Bush had done, and I thought that if John Kerry really had a plan, he would have told us what it was. I can’t be blamed for who was chosen the previous election. Splendid defense huh? Some may disagree with the choice I made…
On to the point. If you like Candidate A, then you should know where they stand on issues. Did they support the war? Did they vote for gun control? Did they support same-sex marriages or civil union? Alot of people cannot answer these questions about their chosen candidate. In an effort to hopefully reach out and get at least 1 person to dig deeper, I am going to provide a way to research this in a very easy to read format. I may not change any outcome, but I can help people get informed.
