Gripe With PACI!
I am having a serious problem with the Public Authority for Civil Information! We dropped off my wife’s papers at a machine almost 3 weeks ago, and we were assured it only took 10 days before we have something to track. Unfortunately the machine was out of paper to provide us a receipt. “ma endi fatura.” That’s a great phrase to have to utter in this country. No receipt = no proof.
The PACI website still says we need to come in person to the office. We did that last weekend and were promptly informed to “check the website” again. Did I mention we have no receipt?
We shall give it another try tomorrow…
Could this be another snag because Lana is Iraqi? Wake up! Iraq invaded, the USA saved… doesn’t that even each other out? (That was rhetorical…)
