Stranded!
Literally that is. The Envoy required some TLC in a way that I could not provide. Instead of taking it to various places myself, I called up my friend to do the dirty work for me. I didn’t feel like putting up with price gouging and everything today, so I’m letting him do it for me. When it comes back, the wiring in the front right headlight should be fixed, service brake system message will be gone, and the seal around the front window will be up to snuff again.
It’s amazing how cheap things are to get fixed here, at least if you have some experience with the market. But still, much easier to have someone do it for you if you don’t feel like going 5 rounds with the “I know I’m American but I’m not paying you triple” series of events.
*It must be noted, not everyone here is a thief. Alot of people are just trying to make a dinar so to speak. If you find an honest, stick with them! A friend that knows the market and that is Indian or Pakistani (preferred) can help you save on repair costs for vehicles, or just about anything for that matter.
