Lou Pearlman Sentenced to 25 Years
The guy who made the Backstreet Boys and N’Sync has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for money laundering and using false statements under bankruptcy proceedings, among other things. The judge is willing to reduce his sentence by 1 month for every 1 million dollars he returns. $300 million (300,000,000 to put it in perspective!) would get him off without any penalty I guess. I read he was a sex-offender too.
