The Weekend to a Close

My wonderful weekend is coming to a close.  “My weekend” is Sunday/Monday, by the way.  Great if you have to go to government offices or shopping.  Anyway.  I’m sitting here watching Lana play Wii fit.  She is getting better than me!

Just finished a wonderful meal, although I believe I almost killed my wife with the filfil.  Chicken, potato, carrot, tomato paste, some masala, garlic, onion, salt, pepper… I rock, I know.  Had to have ice cream afterwards. I’ll make it again with only 1 spoon of the mix, then I can put the recipe online!  I call it “American Masala.”

We finally finished with PACI on Saturday!  The guy who told us we needed more papers last time was staring at us in disbelief. I guess he was not too happy with our successes.  Oh well.

We watched The Kite Runner this weekend. Excellent movie.  It actually made me cry at 2 points.  I started to watch the Tudors yesterday… I had both DVDs in my hands, then one disappeared in my living room.  We tore the place apart and could not find it.  It literally seems to have disappeared.  Scary! We looked for almost an hour, under cushions, under couches, in every DVD case, behind things, over things, under things… no luck.

And the small look into the lives of Lana and Sam has came to a close.  Until next time world…
