Theft is the Only Sin
From “The Kite Runner,” which also happens to be one of the best movies I have seen in a long time:
There is only one sin, only one. And that is theft. Every other sin is a variation of theft… When you kill a man, you steal a life. You steal his wife’s right to a husband, rob his children of a father. When you tell a lie, you steal someone’s right to the truth. When you cheat, you steal the right to fairness.

i read the book before watching the movie!! i cried all the way!!
I cried at two points in the movie. Was very sad. Even the happy ending was overshadowed by the horror that went on. I am SOOOOOOO relieved to find out it was not a true story, but the work of improvised fiction based around a central point.
I want to watch that movie!!
