The lady LIED about being a virgin. Plain and simple. It is a case of “chastity fraud,” to borrow a term from the article. Religion and country aside, when you lie to someone in order to get them to marry you, it is dishonest, deceitful, and should be grounds for an annullment.

I think the marriage should be annulled and she should be entitled to nothing in compensation. Same principle as if a woman said she was pregnant to get you to marry her, if she wasn’t.
