Does the Kindle Work in Kuwait?
Has anyone seen a working Kindle in Kuwait, as in dowloading everything over the air and all that good jazz? The choices of magazines and books here kinda suck, and I was thinking of getting the Kindle to read the books I purchase. I tend to get my books from Amazon anyway. Magazine subscriptions rock as well (my mail is not checked by the government), but they tend to be old by the time I get them here… hence why I want to use the kindle.
I just want to verify before I buy one and have it not pull stuff over-the-air.

nope wont work
since it doesnt work in alaska and montana (as is stated on amazon) i sincerely doubt it will work anywhere besides the states… unless you download your stuff while you’re there and just use the device to read your old stuff while abroad…
@Mark: Thanks for the confirmation!
@Rocka: There was still a small chance though
if there is a USB device .. why cant we use it . Can you please let me know, because I am dying to get it

From what I have gathered you can transfer information to the kindle from your computer, but not over-the-air. I don’t know anyone here with a Kindle to confirm this though.
