Zain Internet Router, Day 2
I have finally figured this out, after more calls to Zain and failures to get in contact with the retailer here. In order (for me) to change the configuration settings I had to install the router software on my laptop. From there I was able to choose WCDMA only. Recall from the last post that I could not manually select a network from the router config screen (192.168.1.1).
I was able to figure out how to create profiles though, in the router interface. I believe I had to change the name or something. I was unable to get the HSDPA stuff going then. Now, my setup looks like below. I am downloading at OVER 150kBps in BitTorrent now though.
Verdict today: Zain RAWKS!

Is it the new e-GO2GO?
No way Q8GEEK. I would rip through dinar with that like no tomorrow! It’s just the 28KD a month package, and so far, it’s very much worth it!
oh then you’ll suffer the 30GB speed limitation =.=
Quite an interesting blog you have going on here
Yeah there is a downside to using the Zain Unlimited its not really unlimited, if your like me downloading torrents like there is no tommorow the 30GB limit is a pain. You see once you hit the 30GB mark the speed goes to down to edge
